Okay, it turns out that the font for the logo is Open Sans with some modified kerning. I'm going to just design a different logo with this font instead. |

It turns out the logo is under the LGPL license according to the AUTHORS file.

Hi,
I am currently in the middle of working on a "qBittorrent Manager" application and I made a logo for it a while ago. I basically found the source svg of #6467 in the qBittorrent source code and rotated the hue of each color by 120 degrees to green in the hsv color space. The resulting logo looks like this:
I read https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/blob/master/COPYING and it stated that v3 of the license applies to images. https://fossa.com/blog/open-source-software-licenses-101-gpl-v3/ states that I should be fine to change the image so long as I include the GPLv3 license with my code and allow others to change the image as well right? This seems to answer my questions.
I'm new to open source as I mostly coded for my own very small scripts/programs and never really needed to worry about licensing issues. It looks like the MIT license is something I'd prefer at this point but I like the qBittorrent logo and would prefer to just change its color for the application.
If anyone who is familiar with licensing could weigh in and help me here I would appreciate it.
