Why did my qbittorrent get uglier after a version upgrade?

Here is qbittorrent 4.4.1 on Kubuntu 22.04. Note the nice transparency, decent spacing and good font size. Also the icons.

Here is qbittorrent on Kubuntu 23.10 qb version 4.5.4. Note the lack of transparency, improper spacing and unusual font size. Also the icons are different.

Is there any way to get the classic look back?

I've tried running the 4.4.1 appimage and it looks even worse
