qBittorrent/ Failed to load torrent. Reason: "expected value (list, dict, int or string) in bencoded string"

hello, I am new to qbittorrent I'm trying to figure out why I keep getting this error Failed to load torrent. Reason: "expected value (list, dict, int or string) in bencoded string" can anyone please help me this is a fresh install running on trueNas ,I have forwarded all my ports and it also says firewall blocked does that say does it have something to do with it? and no matter what platform or operating system I'm using it does the same thing!
