My qtorrent is crashing almost directly when starting it. #16499
Comments
I had that problem with 4.4.0. After letting it running overnight, with the crash window in front, then shut it down. Started in again and never got the crash again. Nothing changed. It just for some reason crashed one day. Then worked the next. You try to close it and start it up a few times to see if it works? Mine started again for some reason. |
This was supposed to be fixed in 4.4.1. Have you tried restarting qBt? Probably duplicate of #15955 |
I have tried restarting a few times and restarted the computer too. But i will try to let it go for 24H as suggested and then see what happens. |
Looks like there's another issue causing the same crash. It's still being investigated here: #15955 (comment) (read onwards) |
Restarted after 24H still same problem. Would it be possible to add a option in the crash box so you could continue without closing the program so you could manage your torrents. Maby that way we could access the settings and lower the load on startup. For example lower the amount of torrents active....... |
So I would prefer to start new thread. Let it be this one. |
@glassez There doesn't seem to have been any reoccurrence of this libtorrent::file_storage::file_path(index, save_path) crash after 4.4.1, ok to close? |
Ok. |
