Crash #18445
Comments
Upgrade to the Qt6 version and see what happens there. |
Thanks for the report but without steps to reproduce or a valid stack trace there is nothing we can do. (Also: Please ensure the If you're up to it and want to help create a valid stack trace please try one of the methods in #12976 (comment) or #5785 (comment). |
This also happens to me. Report information in here:OS version: Windows 10 Version 2009 10.0.19045 x86_64 Caught signal: SIGSEGV

I had this start happening after adding a bunch of magnet links all at once. Gut feeling tells me something getting overloaded and qt just nopes out. Went into appdata and renamed the folders, started it back up, no crash on startup. Deleted the newly created folders switching back to the original ones. Now starts without crashing, not sure how stable it will be. It ran a couple hours before and then just crash to desktop. Odd that it seems to work now, should be same settings effectively, but will delete some completed ones and see if adding new stuff will re-trigger this. Different qt versions had no effect on it. Perhaps if the problem is people not providing reproduction steps add that to the crash report screen "Open a ticket, tell us what you did to trigger this" else they'll just copy the debug output :) |
@horton396 @ryjer See my instructions in #18306 (comment) |
@Tampa No qBittorrent/library info etc in your post, You may have been affected by a known tracker conversion crash issue that has since been resolved & will be in qBittorrent 4.5.1 but without a stack trace/crash report - can't be sure of this. |
