If I am not mistaken this line does not necessary and it copies only memory junk to a buffer:

M5IsobusVT/src/UnitVTObject.cpp

Line 833 in 9da7909

for (i=0;i<pMsg->LEN;i++) pMsg->DATA[i]=byteArray[i];

Maybe it is just copied over accidentally?
