On V107 of chromeOS with the latest version of Murkmod(V6) ChromeOS fails to display the "Load Unpacked" despite developer mode being enabled in the extension menu (see below). However Pollen is working as I normally cant enable Developer mode and all policy blocked websites are no longer blocked.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Use v107.
  2. Be enrolled and try to manually add an extension.

Expected behavior
Obviously we would expect the "Load Unpacked" button to actually appear.

Screenshots
Screenshot 2024-09-21 7 23 12 PM

System:

  • Board [Dedede]
  • Version [V107]
  • Installation method used [Devmode installer]

Additional context
Im using V107 due to #86. Im not sure if any newer version would work cause I don't feel like updating above V120.

If you need anything else to help, please ask.

v105 is the most heavily tested version of ChromeOS, but I would believe this to be an issue with policies more than one of murkmod itself. Can you take a look at your policy in chrome://policy and upload any relevant information here?

Here's a dump of my district's policies. It's likely related to the pollen config or something special my district did that somehow bypasses it. (This dump is with Pollen ON BTW). It almost certainly is due to something with pollen, but it might be the default pollen config islef (which is part of Murkmod) causing the problems.

Try updating to a higher version of ChromeOS, or downgrading to a lower one. I don't see what the issue might be from your policies.
