Kenneth said a customer had feedback that they would like to customize the side nav in order to create a more focused view on what is most important to them.

Another customer also requested to be able to persist the state of the side nav so they wouldn't have to expand each nav item over and over again. A CRD for the side nav would make this possible.

I have seen requests to hide the Apps item from users, as well as a request to ONLY show the Apps part of the UI to users.
