It would be helpful to mention the July 31, 2025 EOL date for RKE (along with a link referring users to RKE2) at the top of the README.md: https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000021513
This would be especially useful for new users who are evaluating k8s distros.
Maybe an announcement could go to the stderr of select rke subcommands, for existing users who don't refer back to the README.md.
