Have forwarded this to our rarible.com marketplace team, they are looking into it. |

I am running into a situation that I cannot explain on the rinkeby testnet marketplace in regards to the service fees and royalties.
An NFT that is minted externally (through the contract mint method) is brought into the marketplace and put up for sale by the owner of the NFT token. A bid is made on the NFT (by another user) and then I (the owner of the token) go to accept the bid, and I am presented with a confirmation dialog to accept the bid.
There are 2 inconsistencies that I am seeing here; firstly the royalty amount is not really accounted for (This is being set via EIP-2981 royaltyInfo method) and so it seems that (in this case 8%) is not being listed on the UI but it is properly being accounted for in the contract (which is good!) and we see that with the 0.0016 ETH (8% of 0.02 ETH).
However the service fee (2.5%) of 0.0005 ETH comes out twice and we see this in the etherscan events.
