Youtube videos stop loading

Used this extension to spoof a macos chrome client in order to make YT go faster as per a tip given by a reddit user. Worked for a couple days, but now videos stop loading altogether or just load the first 15-25 seconds and then get stuck with the extension enabled while everything else works fine -- including comments, live chat, ads, subtitles and even peeking at the progress bar.
