Potentially Install Active Mode after Europe Mode

After I uninstalled edge with Europe mode, typing microsoft-edge will open microsoft store page of edge.Powertoys run function tries to open ms edge and fails when I select search the web so I installed msedgeredirect.I tried active mode as well as service mode but neither of them works.The powertoys shows a pop-up of failling to open edge and typing microsoft-edge will open microsoft store page of edge.Nothing seems to be changed.

I would expect it to default to whatever is the default HTTP handler if uninstalled while "in EU" but Microsoft has been pushing back against it with the whole UCPD. The quickest workaround would just be to install Active Mode after Europe Mode but I'll see what can be done.
