Can't open Gallery/Photos on iOS

Is there currently a way to open a gallery of photos on iOS using react-native-document-picker?

Going through documentation, I didn't find any option that would allow this. What it seems to do is just open Files app, from which photos are inaccessible/not visible, which pretty much defeats the purpose if you want to use this api for photo uploads.

I'm on iOS 13.5.1 - not sure if it makes any difference
