Updating for Kube 1.22+

Hello, I was curious if this operator would be upgraded for the new versions of kube since v1alpha1 is no longer a valid endpoint or if there was a new feature in newer versions of Kube / Openshift that make this operator irrelevant. I can work on making the required changes but wanted to ask first.
