Does make install copy the .a static libraries? #174

I'm having issues building efibootmgr-static, and by the looks of https://github.com/rhboot/efivar/blob/master/src/Makefile#L105 the static dependencies aren't copied to LIBDIR. Am I misunderstanding how this works?
