to simplify the management of shared configuration files between the
iCub_SIM
simulator and the iCub model in Gazebo, we are thinking about changing the port prefix of the ports opened by the iCub model in Gazebo fromicubGazeboSim
toicubSim
.By changing your applications and configurations files, this modification should be frictionless, however the possibility of getting something wrong (for example if you have some local and non-versioned configuration/application) is rather high, and for this reason we are making this announcement before the change is made on the
master
branch of the icub-gazebo repository.For more information and discussing the issue, please see robotology-legacy/icub-gazebo-legacy#8 . Please reply on that issue, and not on this one that is just an announcement, thanks.
