This is a wishlist level item, but when bringing up a filter it would be nice to see how many rows are included by each choice.

For example:
Guatemala (20)
Peru (11)
...

If data is in pandas, it's just a simple value_counts() call. Not sure how much harder it is if we move away from pandas, or perhaps move a lot of the data processing client-side.
