While it could be done in a spreadsheet, some might be nice on the site itself.

Simple examples:

biggest TJ funding recipients, overall and by year
biggest TJ funding donors, overall and by year
time series plot of funding by category

Fancier examples:

largest donor-recipient pairs, or for a given donor, who were the top 5 recipients each year

No doubt there are many more ideas that could be done here. Concrete examples are probably best before looking at a generalized "pivot" kind of tool.
