We are developing our app and tests on Windows, but we do our deployments and tests on Linux. This seems to cause trouble when we enable snapshot comparison.

I think that would be very hard, given rendering differences not only for the UI (which you show), but also fonts etc. (which you see when switching back and forth between your two screenshorts.

Probably yes. This is what test suffixes can be used for nicely.
