Hi, just curious if the team had any futureplans for supporting finch on Linux ? I'm happy to use docker or nerdctl on Linux but as mentioned already above it would be nice to have a consistent CLI experience when working between macOS/Windows/Linux machines without needing a heavy, closed source application like Docker Desktop.
Just logging my my personal use-case for finch on Linux:
use finch as a Docker replacement when hot-swapping CDK container resources
use finch and finch compose to locally spin up development environments/services
Ideally, would like to be able to use on Ubuntu, Arch, and/or Amazon Linux 2, 3.
What is the problem you're trying to solve?.
To accommodate developers using Linux workstations, support Finch on popular Linux distros.
Describe the feature you'd like
Provide a consistent CLI experience for Linux users that matches the experience offered on mac.
