Hi,
IMHO there is no need of flowWorkspace. There is only one call to this pakage in all PeacoQC, and it is the following.

PeacoQC/R/PeacoQC.R

Line 83 in f2f847d

meta <- flowWorkspace::pData(flowCore::parameters(ff))

In my hands, flowCore::pData achieves the same result.
