The snapshots show a grafana dashboard with a statsd backend.

@saharshoza I installed the stack and had successful run of start_mointoring.py. Though some data is populated in mysql tables, but opentsdb seems blank http://127.0.0.1:4242/api/suggest?max=1000&q=cpu&type=metrics. Any idea why ?
Also I am pretty new to grafana. Can you help me to get to a stage like the graphs in your post.

I would suggest using Statsd in place of opentsdb as the backend for the time series data just because I have debugged RedEye with statsd more.
I see that your opentsdb endpoint is your localhost. So do you have an instance of opentsdb running on your local? Have you ensured that its running correctly?
Also, unless you truly need distributed storage for your metrics, I am not sure if you need to go through the setup process for opentsdb (hadoop and then hbase).
