Profile sidebar doesn't realign smoothly after loading long post

Ditto. To reproduce this problem, simply add a new post and add a lot of content to it (like 15 long paragraphs of text), then in either dev mode or preview mode interact with the site normally and there shouldn't be any apparent problem, but then open the long post and return to the home page, and you'll notice that the sidebar takes some time to realign, and it looks janky.
