Style (minor): Code backgrounds are quite blue

This truly boils down to opinion, but I find the new code block backgrounds rather blue (or is it green?); in particular when the syntax highlighting also makes some code blue, so you end up having dark blue on top of a slightly lighter blue (screenshot below).

I think the old light gray background offers better contrast (example here, for now).

But, I can easily see how opinions might differ here. In fact, I use a similar colouring scheme on my own blog so certainly I can't care too much, but it's one of those things that always annoyed me and that I'd change if I were less lazy.
