It is deprecated in Python 3.12.

pkg_resources.find_distributions might be replaced by importlib_metadata distributions() or Distribution.discover() https://importlib-metadata.readthedocs.io/en/stable/migration.html#pkg-resources-find-distributions

distribution.get_entry_info might be replaced by https://docs.python.org/3/library/importlib.metadata.html#entry-points

I don't know what replaces distribution.activate()
