Preprocessors are great, but they may interfere with other plugins in unintended ways. For example, one of the helga core plugin can silence the bot in a channel. It does this by blanking out the message. This causes problems for some plugins that merely exist to match and log a message. Having postprocessor would be ideal in this situation.

NOTE: This might be tricky with plugins that do client.msg or client.say directly
