MFRC522 MFCCLI User Manual

MFRC522 MFCCLI is a Mifare Classic CLI tool for Arduino MFRC522-compliant reader/writers.

Dependencies

Make sure you have the MFRC522 library installed. On the Arduino IDE, this is credited to "GithubCommunity."

Quick Guide

  1. Follow the wiring guide to physically wire the RFID reader/writer to the Arduino.
  2. Connect to the Arduino via serial (typically using a USB cable) and upload the Sketch to the Arduino.
  3. Make and run the CLI program.
$ make
$ ./mfrc522-mfccli <DEVICE>

<DEVICE> is typically /dev/ttyACM<n> or /dev/ttyUSB<n> on *NIX devices, or COM<n> on Windows devices, where <n> is a number. You can find out through the Arduino IDE.
