Indications | Depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social phobia, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). |
Dosing | 50-200 mg daily. Dosage may be increased in 50 mg increments to maximum 200 mg over a period of weeks. |

Contraindications | Patients with known hypersensitivity to sertraline. Concomitant use in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). |
Adverse Effects | Nausea, diarrhoea/loose stools, anorexia, dyspepsia; male sexual dysfunction (ejaculatory delay); tremor; dry mouth; increased sweating. Sertraline has been associated with PALPITATIONS, CHEST PAIN, HYPERTENSION, HYPOTENSION, EDEMA, SYNCOPE, and TACHYCARDIA |
