Contraindications | Pregnancy. Acute febrile illness. Total lymphocyte count < 1200/mm3. Hypersensitivity to neomycin. |
Adverse Effects | Common: Injection site disorder (19.3-32.5%), Rash, Varicella-like (0.5-5.5%), Fever (9.5-66.8%) Serious: Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Toxic epidermal necrolysis, Thrombocytopenic purpura, Anaphylaxis, Herpes zoster ophthalmicus, Encephalitis, Febrile seizure (Less than 0.1%) |
