Sodium Chloride

Sodium Chloride eye drop 3%, 5mL

Indications To reduce swelling of the cornea.
Dosing Corneal edema: Instill 1 to 2 drops in affected eye(s) every 3 to 4 hours. [Micromedex 2021/08/02] 2% solution Instill 1 to 2 drops in affected eye(s) every 3 to 4 hours. [UpToDate 2021/08/02] Infants, Children, and Adolescents: Ophthalmic solution (5%): Instill 1 to 2 drops into affected eye(s) every 3 to 4 hours as needed.
Hepatic Impairment Dose adjustment not necessary
Renal Impairment Dose adjustment not necessary
Contraindications Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.
