[ix-navigation] Bottom navigation items don't trigger the same events as top navigation items

What happened?

With an open navigation pane, when clicking a bottom navigation item, the navigation pane will not close as it does for top navigation items.

With an open "about & legal information", clicking on a bottom navigation item will not close the modal as it does for top navigation items.
