Hi, just a matter to make it easier to use, if you can remove the "<" to open a file. Also, if you jid file or jid then nothing happens but it hangs.

ie. same behaviour as many other tools eg sed - read from file (if specified) or STDIN (if not).

Would this be like a cmd line flag to enable file mode vs stdin mode? Guessing handling empty stdin would be desirable?
