We can use the examples from aurora/tests/cas04/ to make a jupyter notebook.

Things we can show:

  • How to build the big h5 file with "CAS04", "CAV07", "NVR11", "REV06"
  • How to build a smaller, simpler h5 with just one (or a few) runs
  • Process single station CAS04
  • Process CAS04 vs. NVR08
  • Compare results with spud archived results
  • Once these processing examples are done, remove any extraneous methods/cruft from 01_make_cas04_mth5.py
  • Add a blurb discussing the rotations and the workaround of forcing 0, 90 degrees
  • Add this to the tutorials in the QSG ( See issue Quick Start Guide #70 )

This is basically the notebook that was published with the joss paper.
The notebook is in tutorials/process_cas04_multiple_station.ipynb
