Is there anything written up about what info the GC stats patch adds to the stock 1.9.2 GC::Profiler? NewRelic seems to think the profiler is Good Enough, so they don't support the patches; I suspect that's not true, else why would you maintain the patch...

The patches are tailored to support railsbench. I haven't looked at the GC::Profiler in detail yet. Maybe some parts of my patches are obsolete. Maybe not. But I cannot spend time on this issue right now.

I found that I still want to keep my own hacks for GC profiling.

The standard GC::Profiler is a memory hog.
