It would be really great if Slate was able to embed it or something similar.
I assume this is more a matter of the upstream highlighter, but seeing how different it is than traditional language highlighting I figured it's worth asking here first. Has anyone managed to do something similar? I saw a single issue from 2017 that vaguely referenced it, but it didn't provide enough information to move forward.

A couple years ago, Github added support for Mermaid flowcharts in Markdown documents: https://github.blog/2022-02-14-include-diagrams-markdown-files-mermaid/
