I've finally been able to build a web port, but it's strangely laggy. I can't figure out why; I've looked around other web ports, and none have this same problem. The only port that isn't my own that I actually like can be found at augustberchelmann.com/mario/, but that page has nothing to interact with, so chrome won't enable the audio unless I click somewhere before the game loads, in which the audio seems perfect. The strange behavior that I speak of with my port should be observable at james.nanospearing.com. I tried to see if I could use the files from the augustberchelmann site but could only find the js file, which alone did not solve my issue. If anyone has any idea how to fix this or where I can obtain a build where it is fixed, please inform me.
I know there are tons of ports floating around on glitch and replit, but those all seem to use the same files that were obviously compiled quite a while ago, as the controls are absolute garbage and some of the graphics are slightly broken.
