This is based on the Peep network auralizer
There's a demo at https://smwa.me/peep/
It receives log events via syslog and forwards them to connected browsers, which then plays sounds accordingly. It can also receive state events which indicate a changing value like cpu usage or connected users. These will be done via a simple http api.
This project should also include an application that runs on a server to monitor cpu and memory usage, and forward it to the main peep.js application.
You can install it via docker like so
docker run -d -p 8080:8080 -p 2000:2000/udp --name peep smwa/peep.js
Then navigate your browser to http://localhost:8080/ and point your syslog server to forward messages to localhost:2000 for UDP
