i.e. this,

sourmash sig extract -h

== This is sourmash version 3.2.1.dev7+g5d096233. ==
== Please cite Brown and Irber (2016), doi:10.21105/joss.00027. ==

usage:  extract [-h] [-q] [-o FILE] [--md5 MD5] [--name NAME] [-k K]
                [--protein] [--no-protein] [--dayhoff] [--no-dayhoff] [--hp]
                [--no-hp] [--dna] [--no-dna]
                signatures [signatures ...]

positional arguments:
  signatures

doesn't actually say what the command does!

this could probably be combined with #828 ?
