Hey guys,
I'm on Switch FW 15.0.0, Atmosphere 1.4.0, and ldn_mitm 1.14.0, which I believe as per the readme all should be compatible with each other. I have followed the guide at http://www.lan-play.com/ and have my Switch set up with appropriate network settings (which I'm happy to provide if necessary to troubleshoot), and have my Win 11 PC set up with WinPcap installed (and subsequently rebooted), and switch-lan-play running as admin connected to the top active server listed on lan-play.com.

Despite this I haven't been able to get a single working connection in any game.

With ldn_mitm on and both people connected to the same server:

  • In Legends Arceus trying Nearby Trade either endlessly searches for a trade, or just outright crashes Atmosphere which flags ldn_mitm's contents folder ID as causing the crash.
  • In Scarlet/Violet, trying Link Trade with ldn_mitm on does the same as Legends Arceus above; eventually one of the two of us has a crash. Trying Union Circle with the link code routinely just throws a room not found error, or a connection error.
  • In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, trying to join a lobby someone else is hosting via Wireless Play (not LAN mode) loads for a while then eventually throws a 'communication error', fortunately no Atmosphere crashes with this. ((I'm aware there's a LAN mode and ldn_mitm isn't needed for MK8 but I was just testing whether or not it worked with a non-Pokemon game.))

Without ldn_mitm, MK8 works with switch-lan-play via LAN mode (the connection process is slow and occasionally disconnects but I have definitely gotten games to run). I was hoping for any advice anyone might be able to offer in getting my setup working with ldn_mitm. I'm happy to provide ldn_mitm logs and screenshots of my setup/network settings/lan-play console as requested, and the next time I get an Atmosphere crash I'll take a picture of the error and post it. Thanks!
