Hello there, my name is Alexander Cerutti, and I'm a developer from Italy 🇮🇹 .
📚 I'm in love with creating and maintaining libraries.
💡 I'm more of a creative mind, so you can expect new projects from me and fewer activities on other repositories (but that doesn't mean I won't contribute - I love contributing if I can).
🔧 I'm the maintainer of passkit-generator, one of the most popular libraries for generating Apple Wallet passes (right now it has around 10k weekly downloads and it has been featured in articles and youtube videos), passkit-visual-designer and the newer sub37, a project that aims to make subtitles and captions experience on the web consistent and coherent among browsers, by supporting most notorious subtitles formats and custom ones.
🎨 I design my projects by writing on OneNote on my iPad. I handwrite pages and pages of ideas and thoughts about how to proceed. My idea about this method is what I call "The hand is slower than the mind", which might seem to be obvious and ridiculous, but I believe this phrase contains a deep meaning inside it: writing is really useful to slow down your mind gears and make it work properly, by putting order among your thought. That's what I feel every time I try to design a new thing.
🗣️ My motto is "Human, dreamer, (web) developer", which is a sequence of words I created that express everything about myself, how I think, how I see the world and people, and, last but not least, how I love to contribute to the world.
I'd like to become a full-time open-source creator and maintainer and create communities around my projects.
Thank you very much!
