I'm a computer scientist, embedded developer, and CEO of RealVNC.

I have a long-held interest in OS (operating system) development for embedded hardware, and in encouraging others to experiment with "bare metal" development.

My current project is a tutorial demonstrating how to write an OS for the Raspberry Pi 4.

I would hope people see it can be an engaging, even fun, and certainly rewarding pursuit. The project is currently followed/forked by University students and professional engineers worldwide.
