Hi! I'm Boris Faure, aka billiob. I'm a 36 years old software engineer producing free software for more than a decade. I barely blog about software development.

Terminology

I'm mostly working on Terminology, the best Terminal Emulator written with the EFL.
I tend to work on things related to it, like maintaining EFL's aport on alpine linux or trying to patch llvm's sanitizers to support musl libc.

I'm also hosting https://terminolo.gy. On that server, I run afl-fuzz to find issues in the code parsing escape codes.

I'm managing Terminology's twitter account @Terminology.

Other open-source work

I'm doing some rust code from time to time like a JUnit.xml parser, a lovely logger a raytracer, a maze generator, a spotify controller ….

I wrote in node.js a website generator to publish pictures from trips.

I used to develop an irc bot written in brainfuck++.

I'm patching various pieces of free software as need goes.
