When I (@ctubbsii) created the revelc organization account on GitHub, I was primarily looking to create a space where I could host some random projects in a space where others would feel welcome contributing. Having a namespace for projects that is separate from my own individual user name was important to me, so that these projects could even outlast me one day.

The projects here can still mostly be described as my random playground projects, but we have also tried to form a community around some pre-existing projects, like formatter-maven-plugin, when the original developer had stepped back.

We're still a small, informal group of volunteers, with a not very clever name, but we hope we can provide a landing space for small projects with the potential for big impact on developers.
