How to add the year automatically in the copyright part

You might be able to use the macros plugin, but I'm not sure whether it also applies to values in mkdocs.yml.

Add a simple javascript into your copyright config:

This approach can cause some issues when the page is refreshed. It will display the year on the page, and we need to refresh the page again to restore the normal content.

Simplest solution: ask ChatGPT to write a hook for you:
