I've filled in everything except for the following. In this case, there really doesn't seem to be a good particle to add here that would make sense, so I left it blank.

I added what I knew and confirmed the wording that some corporate Japanese blogs use. Still, in the future, I think the parts I added could benefit from a native Japanese speaker🙂

This is the placeholder that is used to render the blog categories a post is categorized in, e.g. "in Search":

The way Japanese grammar is, I don't think replacing "in" wouldn't be correct in this spot, unfortunately. For example, Search へ would work, but not へ Search. In this case, I assume changing the placement of that isn't reasonable though.

Is it possible to leave "blog.categories.in": "", blank or otherwise have the English "in" render as blank?

We can definitely leave it blank for now. I hope to improve the translation process at some point to switch to regular gettext and .po files, which allows for more flexibility, but that's something for the future to consider when we get bored. For now, the list of proposed changes and ideas is already so long to fill the coming years 😅
