Open the respective {gallery | news | showcase | sponsors}.yaml files and utilize the first entry as a template for the new entry.

For a showcase item, utilize this PPT to manage the image dimension and style.
For news items, consider a landscape image.
Add images to the corresponding assets directory (gallery, news, showcase, sponsors) and reference their paths accordingly.
Please send a Pull Request with the changes and an admin will merge it.
