MSI broken?

Hi, I downloaded the msi file and when double clicked I get a blue doughnut for a few seconds then nothing? If I try manual extraction of the files I get an error messages relating to problems with the msi file. Tried various methods to download. Non work :(

Hi @cpcnw, it looks like other users don't have this problem. But maybe it could help to try debugging the installer by opening a terminal and running the installer using msiexec /i EverythingToolbar-1.3.2.msi /L* log.txt. Possibly the log output in log.txt gives us some insights.

Odd, as I did that it installed fine. Only thing is that when adding it to toolbar, it's empty? If I type anything in nothing happens? Everything is running as a service fine.

So the search window opens but you are not getting any search results? Are you using Everything 1.5a or 1.4.1? If you are using 1.5a, you have to set the instance name to 1.5a in EverythingToolbar.

Otherwise please send the log file. It's located at %TEMP%\EverythingToolbar.log

Everything running as service is not enough.
You must have the client started with the system start-up
