Platform: Mojave macOS 10.14 Node 12.6.0
Following the instructions in docs does not work for me. Puzzled.

npm install -g react-native-cli
react-native init DesktopSampleApp --version status-im/react-native-desktop
cd DesktopSampleApp
react-native desktop

Did you follow these instructions?

Was playing around with different versions and of react-native and must have messed something up. Did a full reinstall of node and followed the instructions for global react-native-cli and no success. Followed the instructions above and got success.
