The German po file is only partially complete and needs to be fully updated.

Hi Stephen,

I continued working on the German translation, it is a lot. One could think, that you are an author or something like this. ;-)

Do you have an google translate API Key to make a first automated translation? I would then continue to fix them.

Alternatively you could create an account with https://poeditor.com/ for the translation. Open source projects can use the service free of charge (https://poeditor.com/help/faq#How-can-I-translate-my-open-source-software-project-for-free)

I checked the results with the ship descriptions and the results looked really well.

I used Google Translator Toolkit to doing the initial Google translations. It can be found here:

https://translate.google.com/toolkit/list?hl=en#translations/active

It's a little more difficult to use than expected; it's not clear what you're supposed to do and I had to guess my way around it. I ran the latest de.mo through it and I think it's now machine translated the missing lines. I've attached it to the comment, in case it's all gone wrong (and I don't want to commit it just yet).
