Option-Arrow keys

I don't know how the ProseMirror change affects this but I'd love to have Option-left and right arrows move the insertion point one word at a time.

That works "out of the box" with it. I will need to document them somewhere. In my dreams they would be configurable 😜

You gotta dream! Do you mean out of the box with the ProseMirror version? And do we also get shift-option-arrows? (Dreaming big, here.)

I haven't looked into it in a lot of detail, but I believe that yes, you get it all 😜. The ProseMirror keymapping is quite comprehensive, since it was designed to work across browsers and OS versions. He's paid a lot of attention to it behaving like a Mac user would expect. I really only added what was needed for "search mode", where Enter/Shift-Enter are interpreted as Search Forward/Backward, and to capture Enter to update the selection state on the Swift side.

That's great! The other thing I've been needing is the ability to change the highlight color. Using a dark background makes it hard to see.

Normally you could use the ::selection element in css, but Safari/WebKit doesn't support it. I suspect you're out of luck until that happens. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/::selection
